Remember the all women music festival Lilith Fair?  Most of the female musicians I listen to graced the stages of Lilith at one time in their career.  I too have the chance to play a full set at this year 2010 Lilith Fair in Indianapolis, Indiana on July, 20th.

With the help of my fans, I can secure my song “Again” at the top of the voters charts.

In the upper left corner, click where it says JUDGE, then click on Lilith Fair Channels  (bottom right), next click the Indianapolis, IN show date. 4 different songs and artists will appear and you will listen to at least 15 seconds of each and put them in order of how you like them. Once you’ve listened to an artist, if they come up multiple times you DO NOT have to listen again.  My song may take a couple rounds before it pops up.  Once it does, place it 1st.  *You may be asked to join Ourstage and create an acct but If you have Facebook all you have to do is link your acct.

This just in from the Department of American Idol Blasphemy: Earlier today, I posted a gallery of 28 of the best songs ever recorded by the show’s alumni, and my omission of not just one, but two Idol champs, as well as three Idol runners-up, resulted in the launching of many strongly worded emails and Tweets in my general direction. “You included LaKisha Jones but not **a*a *e*a***?” “How could you leave off *a*ha**ne ***hee?” “Where the heck is **be* S****a**?”  some of you demanded to know. And, to my shock, I even managed to offend myself by overlooking season 8’s tragically early evictee Deanna Brown and her bluesy little number “Sometime Ago,” from her recent indie release Traveler.

My band and I headed through the Miami airport a day before we were set to play at the first venue.  We stayed at the Mayfair Hotel which I highly recommend.  It was very interesting, not just your normal stay at a hotel.  My favorite part of the trip took place at  The Red Bar the 2nd night of performing.  By the end, I was on a chair howlin’ out the lyrics to You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette.  It was fun for me watchin’ all the girls lip sing to that one.  Someday soon the crowd will know my lyrics too.  :)  Stay tuned to my YOUTUBE page for footage of the shows.
